Antivirus software is a computer software used to prevent, detect, remove malicious software.But now the concept is changed.Antivirus is a useless box-ticking exercise says google Security Engineer Darren Bilby.
He said :
"Antivirus Does some useful things but in reality, it is more like canary in the coal mine it is worse than that its like we are standing around the dead canary says Thank God it inhaled all the poisonous gas".
He recalls the incident when he was charged with researching very advanced attacks including the 2009 operation aurora Campaign that made several computers vulnerable to attack.
